Lathe operation steps:
Before shift:
1、 Check the clothes: the cuff button must be fastened. If the cuff is worn, the cuff must fit closely with the forearm. The zipper or button of the clothes must be pulled over the chest. It is strictly prohibited to open the clothes and sleeves. Female workers with long hair must roll up their hair, wear hats and goggles, and it is strictly prohibited to wear gloves to operate the lathe.
2、 Maintenance and lubrication: fill the guide rail and screw rod with lubricating oil with oil gun for lubrication, check the oil mark of the oil tank and observe whether the amount of lubricating oil is enough.
3、 Processing preparation: clean the irrelevant objects and tools on the workbench, put the parts to be processed on the left workbench or in the turnover basket, clean the right workbench or in the turnover basket, and put the processed workpieces. Check whether the fixture and workpiece clamping are firm and reliable. Check the oil (water) pipe joints, fastening bolts and nuts for looseness and oil leakage (water), and whether the oil (water) pump and motor are normal.
4、 Those who are not familiar with the performance, operating procedures and safety operating procedures of the lathe are strictly prohibited to operate the lathe.
In class:
1、 After running the spindle at low speed for 3-5 minutes, change to the appropriate gear for processing. The spindle can be operated only after confirming that the clamping is firm each time.
2、 Concentrate on the operation. When the file is used to polish the parts, the right hand is in front. When polishing the inner hole, the abrasive cloth must be rolled on the wooden rod, and the hanging hand must be prevented. Do not start to measure the workpiece and clamp the cutting tool.
3、 The chuck and flower plate must be locked and fastened on the shaft. When loading and unloading the chuck, the bed surface shall be padded with wood, which shall not be carried out with the help of the power of the lathe, and the hand and other tools shall not be placed on the chuck and flower plate.
4、 After work, the machine tool must be wiped clean, the power supply must be cut off, the parts stacking and work site must be kept clean and safe, and the shift handover work must be done carefully.
5、 All safety protection devices on the machine tool shall be kept in good condition and shall not be removed without authorization. It is not allowed to remove the gear housing when driving. There shall be pedals in front of the machine tool to prevent electric leakage.
6、 Check the quality of finished products according to the inspection requirements. In case of waste products, stop the machine immediately for inspection and report to the superior. In case of failure, cooperate with maintenance personnel for maintenance, cut off the power supply in case of accident, protect the site and report to relevant departments immediately. At any time, people should walk and machines should stop.
After shift:
1、 Turn off the power switch before work every day.
2、 Clean the metal scraps on the guide rail, and clean the processed iron scraps to the specified position.
3、 Place tools and parts in specified places.
4、 Fill in the equipment maintenance point inspection form and make records.
Maintenance safety precautions:
Before clamping the workpiece, the impurities such as sand and mud in the workpiece must be removed to prevent impurities from being embedded into the sliding surface of the carriage, which will aggravate the soft wear of the guide or “bite” the guide rail.
When clamping and correcting some workpieces with large size, complex shape and small clamping area, a wooden bed cover plate shall be placed on the lathe bed surface under the workpiece in advance, and the workpiece shall be supported by a pressing plate or movable thimble to prevent it from falling and damaging the lathe. If the position of the workpiece is found to be incorrect or skewed, do not knock hard to avoid affecting the accuracy of the lathe spindle, The clamping claw, pressing plate or thimble must be loosened slightly before step-by-step correction.
Placement of tools and turning tools during operation:
Do not put tools and turning tools on the bed surface to avoid damaging the guide rail. If necessary, cover the bed cover on the bed surface first, and put the tools and turning tools on the bed cover.
1. When sanding the workpiece, cover it with bed cover plate or paper on the bed surface under the workpiece; After sanding, carefully wipe the bed surface.
2. When turning cast iron workpieces, install the guard rail cover on the choke plate, and wipe off the lubricating oil on a section of bed surface that can be splashed by chips.
3. When not in use, the lathe must be cleaned and maintained to prevent chips, sand or impurities from entering the sliding surface of the lathe guide rail, biting the guide rail or aggravating its wear.
4. Before using the cooling lubricant, the garbage in the lathe guide rail and the cooling lubricant container must be removed; After use, wipe the cooling and lubricating fluid on the guide rail dry and add mechanical lubrication for maintenance;
